The La Porte Lake Association had our annual clean-up on Saturday, July 9. We had a great time together, and did something very important for our local environment.
In addition to picking up many plastic bottles, aluminum cans and glass, a large amount of metal was collected.
I would like to thank Donna, Jay, Mary, Jay, Mary, Bob, Deb, Mike, Julie, Katie, and Scott, for their efforts to help keep our lakes clean for everyone to enjoy. I would also like to thank Waste Management for supplying the dumpster.
Ed and Peggy put on another fantastic picnic that was just the best!
